MyKlozt is a marketplace for pre-loved bridal and formal wear in Pakistan. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Sign-in details: your mobile number, your email address, or the name and email Google shares when you use “Continue with Google”.
What you add: your display name, city and shop bio; listings and their photos; chat messages and photos; offers, likes, follows, saved searches, ratings and reports.
ID verification, if you choose it: your full name, CNIC number, contact mobile number, photos of the front and back of your CNIC, and a selfie holding it.
Messages to us: what you send through the contact or complaints form, with the name, email and number you give.
Records: when you accepted our Terms and this policy, and basic technical data needed to run the site, such as listing view counts.

Photos are re-saved when you upload them, which removes hidden data such as the GPS location.

How we use it

To run your account, show your listings, and deliver messages and notifications.
To keep the marketplace safe: hiding phone numbers, emails and links in chat until both people agree, reviewing reports, and preventing fraud.
To verify sellers who ask for the Verified badge. Our software compares the face on your CNIC with your selfie and reads the card; staff check anything it isn't sure about and spot-check the rest.
To answer your messages and complaints.

We do not sell your data and we do not show third-party advertising.

ID documents

CNIC photos and selfies are kept in a private store, separate from listing photos. Only you, our verification software and our verification staff can open them, and they are never shown to other users. Only the “Verified” badge is public. You can ask us to delete them at any time; the badge is then removed.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to run MyKlozt: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (photo and document storage), Hetzner (hosting and ID checks) and Google (if you sign in with Google). They process data only to provide their service to us. We share information with the authorities only when the law requires it or to protect someone from serious harm.

What other users see

Your display name, city, shop bio, listings, ratings and follower count are public. Your phone number, email and CNIC are not, unless you choose to share your number with someone in a chat.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account is open. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except records we must keep to deal with fraud, a complaint in progress or a legal request.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your listings and profile at any time. To see a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account, send us a message through the contact form while signed in, and we will reply within 30 days.

We will post any update here with its date, and ask you to accept important changes.
